PLEASE BE MINDFUL TO SUBMIT YOUR FEED ORDER FORM PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL! 

Entries: Please make sure breeder and owner fields match what is on your registration papers, especially for juniors. Entry fees will NOT be reimbursed if an animal is entered and unable to show for any reason. For early entry rates, enter online during the time frame of March 11 - April 1 at 11:59pm.

Late Entry:  Late entry fees are $100/ animal during the dates of April 1 at Midnight to maximum capacity. Late entry information must be sent to Scott Poitras at ppoitras@charter.net with the animals information, and copy of registration. Late fees can be paid VIA the entry portal or other arrangements. ALL late entries must be paid before animals are shown! 

Breed Swaps: Exhibitors may swap entries within their respected breeds- regardless of the age.  No swaps can be made from breed to breed. This must be reflected at the time of check in! 

Stalling : Please provide information of stalling at time of entry. We ask exhibitors clarify who is a "tie-in" with you or who will be a string next to you. We do ask to clarify this for ease of stalling. We will try to accommodate all "tie next to" requests, but if space does not permit we can not promise this would work. Feed Store orders : Feed store order forms are now available! All Pre orders for large straw bales must be completed by April 9th. If you order a large straw bale, you must take it- NO REFUNDS. Click the button above for the feed order form! Hours TBD and posted.

Showmanship : Please listen to announcements during the show for sign-ups. Showmanship is not required for youth. All-Breed juniors will participate at one time, we will split rings for heats. There is an Overall showman heat.

Departures : Exhibitors are welcome to leave following their respected breeds shows. We do not have release times set. All cattle must be out of the barns on Sunday April 21, 2024.

Junior Best Three Females Group to consist of 3 animals Fall Yearling Heifer (not in milk) and younger, none of which have freshened. All three animals must have been bred by exhibitor and at least one owned by the exhibitor. Partnership bred animals, outside the family, may not be included in this class. Each exhibitor is limited to one entry.

Production Cow Class: See below for breed specifics. Official milk production records must be submitted by 3 pm on 4/17

 

  • Ayrshire: Lifetime Component Merit Cow must have met one of the following two requirements:  Produced 100,000 pounds of milk or more OR Produced 7,500 combined pounds of fat and protein.  Official milk production records are required by 3pm 4/17

  • Brown Swiss: Component Merit Cow Lifetime production of at least 8,500 lbs. combined fat & protein, be shown in milking form and be in her third or higher lactation. Records must be met by July 1 of current show year. Official milk production records must be provided by 3 pm on 4/17

 

  • Guernsey: Lifetime Component Merit Cow must have met one of the following two requirements:  Produced 100,000 pounds of milk or more OR Produced 7,500 combined pounds of fat and protein. Official milk production records are required by 3 pm on 4/18.  

 

  • Holstein: 150,000 Lb. Production Cow Lifetime production over 150,000 lbs. of milk. Official milk production test sheets are required by 3 pm on 4/17 for open show

 

  • Jersey: 100,000 Lb. Production Cow Lifetime production over 100,000 lbs. of milk. Official milk production test sheets are required by 3 pm on 4/17 for open show

  • Milking Shorthorn: Lifetime Merit Cow Lifetime production over 100,000 lbs. of milk. Official milk production records must be provided by 3 pm on 4/17

 

  • Red & White: 125,000 Lb. Production Cow Lifetime production over 125,000 lbs. of milk. Official milk production records must be provided by 3 pm on 4/17.

Premier Breeder & Premier Exhibitor 

  • Premier Awards. Awards are based on the exhibitor of six or less animals in each breed who accumulates the highest total points under the following system. If a tie occurs the points will be calculated based on the next animal. ALL BREEDS PLACING:

  • Premier Exhibitor - The exhibitor credited with the most points on animals including those in multiple ownership, which he owns and exhibits in the open single class. If an exhibitor for Premier Exhibitor uses partnership or syndicate animals, these animals used in the groups must also be entered under his/her name. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to notify the show staff which person of a multiple ownership will receive exhibitor points. This must be done before the day of the show. 

 

  • Premier Breeder - Awarded to the breeder of animals credited with the most points, regardless of ownership. Rules defining exhibitor and breeder also apply.
